If you get some other error message that prevents you from activating, click HERE. If you get an error message when you try to activate that says "Activation server failed with the following error message: Error:*," HERE for instructions for Mac and HERE for instructions for Windows. If you have lost an activation due to computer replacement, operating system upgrade or some other reaason, call 81 to speak with a representative. The computer may be re-activated at any time. This will remove the activation from the computer and make it available to use on another computer. To deactivate, open Final Draft, go to Help > Deactivate. OR you can deactivate one of your activated computers so you can activate this one. If you have FD12 or FD11 and you get a message stating that you have no activations remaining, you can reset an activation here: All registered users of FD9 and older are eligible for the upgrade to Final Draft 12. If you don't have your Customer Number handy, click HERE to have your Customer Number emailed to you. All support for Final Draft 9 and older has been discontinued. If you get a message stating that the Customer Number is invalid, see After I enter my Final Draft Customer Number and click Activate, I get a message saying the number is invalid. If you're prompted to activate, type in your KFD x, EFD x or XFD x Customer Number and click Activate.
